BY-PRODUCT RECOVERY Process

The heat of combustion is recovered by generating medium-pressure steam, the hydrogen chloride is returned to the OXYCHLORINATION process. Alternatively, aqueous HCl of 25 to 30 % can be produced.

The waste gas is treated in a scrubber; afterwards the vent gas complies with all German regulations, including the emission limits values for dioxins and furans (< 0.1 ng TEQ/m³).

The advantages of the Vinnolit process can be summarized as follows:
