EDC DISTILLATION

Water and low boiling components are removed in the dewatering column.

The dry bottom product from the dewatering column together with the unconverted EDC from the cracking process are separated from the high boiling components in the high boils and vacuum columns. The high boils are withdrawn from the bottom of the vacuum column and sent to the HCl recovery unit.
