Dr Oliver Mieden appointed Vinnolit Corporate Communications Manager

In addition to his capacity as Environmental Affairs Manager, Dr Oliver Mieden has assumed responsibility for Corporate Communications at Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG1 effective October 1, 2001.

The 40-year-old chemist has been associated with the company since the establishment of Vinnolit in 1993. Prior to joining Vinnolit and following his doctorate, he worked in the PVC business of Wacker-Chemie GmbH in Cologne which passed into Vinnolit in 1993. Following responsibilities in research and development, quality assurance and production, he changed to the company headquarters in Ismaning as Business Analyst in 1999. In November last year, Dr Mieden was appointed Environmental Affairs Manager, and, since October 1, 2001 has been responsible for corporate communications in close coordination with the management in his capacity as Corporate Communications Manager.
