On 23 October 2015 the Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer, Minister for the Environment Ulrike Scharf and Minister for Economic Affairs Ilse Aigner signed the the new Environmental Pact together with representatives of the Bavarian Economy in the presence of the participating companies.

As an outstanding environmental project the association "Naturnahe Alz e.V." (Flyer in German) was presented. Here, eight companies from ChemDelta Bavaria, among them Vinnolit, have affiliated to support the Bavarian State in the restoration of the Alz and to strengthen the ecosystem sustainably.

The Environmental Pact has been concluded since 1995 for consecutive five year terms and has been updated regularly. It defines specific goals for environmental protection, relies on the forward-looking prevention of pollution rather than their correction and ensures the high environmental standards in Bavaria. More than 5,500 Bavarian companies have joined the voluntary agreement between government and industry so far. Vinnolit was among the first participants in the Bavarian Environmental Pact and was honored for this long-term commitment in September 2011 by the former Environment Minister Dr. Markus Söder.
